Lake Reyes

Here is a picture of our new front walkway or what we not so lovingly refer to as "Lake Reyes". When we arrived to the house where we are to spend the next 14 months of our life we realized that it is not exactly what I would call well taken care of. That is why you should never find and commit to a house you have only seen over the internet, not that I had any choice with the rush we were in. The comedian "fix-it" guy that was at our house said, "Well you said your husband wants to live by a lake....." I'm not sure Marcos would have found his joke to be so funny. So this is our life as renters. It actually really is a beautiful neighborhood if you can look past our house.

Emmy's birthday in Oklahoma

We arrived to our new home in Oklahoma City on Saturday afternoon and Emmy's 4th birthday was the next day. Of course we had nothing but boxes everywhere but her sweet, exhausted Daddy went out late that night to Walmart to make sure she had a cake for Sunday. The sad thing is that it is now 9 days later and I still have not gotten her a present yet. Oops!

The Spurs game!!!

This is Marcos and myself at the Spurs game. Man! The seats were awesome! They were on the 8th row right behind the Spurs players. Marcos was given the tickets by someone with season passes. I have now been completely spoiled and I don't know if I can ever attend another basketball game in the nose bleed seats again. It was such a good time! By the way, that would be Parker, the one married to Eva Longoria, in the picture above. He's my favorite because he's short and still really good :-)

Mia's birthday

Mia turned 6. This is my first attempt at putting on a video. We'll see how it goes. While she is super sweet, we get a peek at her other side......

The Kids Last Day At Carson Elementary

Here is Shad with Ms. Modell. He thought she was so funny! She sure is good with 8 and 9 year-olds!
Mia's last day with Mrs. Burleson. What a wonderful and sweet teacher she is!

Eli with Mr. Kallead. I could not think of a better teacher for Eli. Mr. Kallead really brought out the student in Eli. He turned Eli into an obsessed reader. Eli now loves going to school every day. Thank you Mr. Kallead!

A sad but really fun goodbye!

I have never laughed so hard and so much! I sure am going to miss you girls! This was our last girl's night out before I left San Antonio.

Shad gets his Bobcat

After all this time, Shad finally gets his Bobcat. So he should have gotten it a long time ago but since I don't know what I'm doing, I never let the people know he had earned it. Such is the life of the first child. I'm sure glad he's a patient one!
